On Easter 2011 the association Tastatur und Maus e.V. and a large team of over 60 helpers will organize the world's biggest computer art party in Saarbrücken: REVISION
As the unofficial successor to the demoparty Breakpoint, which took place from 2003 to 2010 in Bingen, we want to give the international community of computer artists, the demoscene, the possibility to celebrate its traditional Easter event with a large variety of competitions also in the future.
the Ultimate Meeting
the Ultimate Meeting (short: tUM) is a computer party dedicated to the realtime computer art scene, also known as 'the demoscene'. It is organized yearly in Karlsruhe/Durlach from the 27th to the 29th of December.
Since 2008, TUM e.V. is the official organizing asociation of the Ultimate Meeting. In the years before that, the event was held privately by the members of the current executive board. The organizing team of tUM consists of German and Belgian members of the demoscene.
The Ultimate Meeting 2010 was already the tenth edition of this demoparty series.
Rewired is a demoparty in Maaseik, Belgium, which takes place since 2008. Rewired was founded by members of the organizing team of the Ultimate Meeting. TUM e.V. is actively supporting Rewired with know-how and manpower.
TUM e.V. is financially supporting the Swiss demoscene party Buenzli since the association's formation. In 2008, the money was used to award a special jury prize.
Buenzli is generally used to kick-off and officially announce the yearly edition of the Ultimate Meeting.
The world's biggest demoscene party, Breakpoint, took place from 2003 up until 2010 in Bingen. TUM e.V. has been contributing actively to the event since its inception.
